Bloemfontein Celtic Reserves will be facing the AmaZulu Reserves at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday, 13th of January, in a 10h00 encounter. The Diski Challenge clash has a potential to be one of the fierce battles looking at the two scenarios. Firstly, Celtic is fiercely contesting for honours currently sharing the top positon of the league with Cape Town City. Secondly, AmaZulu are separated by a mere five points with the visitors, having played the same number of games (10). AmaZulu will be looking at closing the game and subsequently putting pressure on the log leaders.

“I must say we had a splendid recess, luckily our boys came back strong and raring to go. Yes, some might have gained weight a bit but fortunately we gave them a program to follow and that has worked well” explained Coach Abram Nteo. Now, looking at how they responded and subsequently committed during our first training sessions, we aim to come back home with 3 points.”

The former Amagluglug industrious midfielder continued, “You see, football is a strange game, you cannot rely on one strategy. You must approach games according to the strength of the opponents. As the technical team, we have done a deep analysis of Amazulu, how they play, break or attack under pressure and even taking set-pieces. We are confident enough that come Sunday we will be positively rewarded,” he wraps.
