The Sisha Dukashe Stadium in East London will be a battle field for a clash of huge proportions when the host Chippa United, still struggling and languishing at the relegation zone face Bloemfontein Celtic who have only accumulated a single point from their last five games. However, the Mangaung based side have chance to leapfrog to 3rd position if they win this encounter.

“WE are pretty much aware that Chippa United’s game will be a mountain to climb looking at their precarious situation but we hope that our team wins to revive the winning mentality,” commented Celtic MD, Rali Ramabodu when asked about their first 2019 game of the season.

“The boys must go for a kill,” continued the head-honcho. “The same zeal and determination shown during the first half of our game against Cape Town City must prevail and beyond. Again the team is not playing bad, sometimes we have been unfortunate by missing a lot of chances only to concede one silly goal”.

Ramabodu concluded “Both John Maduka and Lehlohonolo Seema must be given sufficient support and luckily the players are used to them. Our main goal will be to accumulate as many points as we can and ultimately achieving a sound position.”

This interesting clash will be played on Friday (04 January 2019), kicking off at 20h00.
