Bloemfontein is engulfed in euphoria instigated by the mouth-watering clash between the home side (Bloemfontein Celtic) and Orlando Pirates scheduled for Sunday 19th August 2018 (15h00 Kick-Off).

The visitors won the preceding fixture by 0-1 in a game played on the 26/11/2017 at Dr. Molemela stadium. However, fans are expected to witness exceptional football with lots of goals this weekend looking at how Celtic started, netting four goals in two matches and conceding nothing. On the contrary, Prates are licking their wounds after losing to Bidvest Wits midweek facing such a team can be dangerous.

Speaking about the massive encounter, club CEO Khumbulani Konco said “Football can be unpredictable, hence the significance of cautiously approaching each game with respect. Our boys have surpassed expectations and honestly speaking, they have brought an exciting mood with fans yearning to watch them play.”

Konco continued “Our technical team did not have favourable conditions to prepare the team during the off-season because of internal challenges. Instead of putting pressure on the team, we will give them the needed support. What I like is that our technical team treats all teams equally, with the same level of respect.”

“Our supporters must come in numbers, to fill-up the stadium and passionately sing for the team like it has been our trend, we must keep the momentum and that can only happen if they fervently continue to rally behind the team,” he concluded.
