After a resounding 3-1 victory against Ajax Cape Town last weekend, the Bloemfontein Celtic reserves will again try to annex three vital points when they face Cape Town City reserves this Saturday (14th April) at Dr. Molemela Stadium in a 10h00 Kick-Off clash. Winning against City will afford Celtic the opportunity to increase their chances of qualifying for the next round of the competition but for that to happen they must produce the same commitment they are synonymous with.

Celtic’s coach Abram ‘Wire’ Nteo foresees a very competitive game saying they have well prepared for this game. “Except winning emphatically against Ajax, there were some areas of concern that we have dealt with this week trying to improve on how we defend especially under pressure, winning one-on-one tussles and increasing our goal difference by converting a host of chances that we create.”

Nteo concludes “We are happy about our improvement on how we take set-pieces especially after scoring two goals from dead-ball situations in our last game. We are fully aware that our opponents want to win after drawing their first game and our main aim is to score and win without conceding because in competitions like this, you must avoid negative goal difference that might affect you at the end. Playing to win is our motto and there is no doubt that our boys are ready to clinch a win.”
