Bloemfontein Celtic and Amazulu FC will face each other on Sunday (8th April) at Dr. Molemela Stadium in a PSL fixture scheduled for a 15h00 Kick-Off. Celtic and Amazulu are occupying positon 9 and 10 respectively on the PSL – Absa Premiership log table and fighting to climb the Top-8 ladder.

“On Sunday we will be forced to attack and get goals and ultimately win!” commented Celtic’s Assistant Coach, John Maduka, when asked about the game. “Yes, Amazulu have been doing well and their winning against Ajax on Tuesday has obviously inspired them but they will face a tough battle at Molemela Stadium, we cannot afford to lose another game at this crucial stage of the league.”

Maduka acknowledged that fighting to qualify for Top-8 needs a lot of concentration and absolute resilience saying his charges are ready to fight especially in front of the home fans. “Against Orlando Pirates we played with determination and even after losing one player through red card our boys immensely showed signs of commitment and that is the spirit we want on Sunday. We will try and identify shortcomings experienced in that game and subsequently come up with a proper plan on how to tackle our next opponent. The sprit is still positive in the camp and that is what we need as technical team,” He concluded.
