Bloemfontein Celtic resurgence after a drubbing by Maritzburg Untied last Friday entirely depends on whether the players have recuperated psychologically and if preparations made had a positive impact on them.

This is according to Celtic ‘s head coach Veselin Jelušic speaking ahead of their crucial PLS encounter against Bidvest Wits on Friday 19, January at Bidvest Stadium in a match scheduled for 20h00.

The previous encounter between the two sides was 1-0 win in favour of Celtic in a game played on the 1st October 2017.

“Wits have their own predicaments but are gradually getting better and our defeat at the hands of Maritzburg United last weekend somehow dented the spirit but after a few sessions there was a bit of progress in terms of preparations for our next game,” Highlighted Veselin when asked about their readiness.

Coach Ves conceded that it would be a difficult game against the students “It won’t be easy playing away but the focus is on dealing with the keenness of players, reviving the zeal to win and eventually regaining confidence before Friday. Fortunately we have a dedicated team that is willing to fight with passion till the season ends.

Our priority is to maximize our performances and trying to win as many points as we can. Ultimately our mission for this season must be completed appropriately and there is no doubt that my team will show hunger and determination against Wits.” He concluded.
