Trying to redeem their dented image and subsequently awarding their faithful supporters with some exquisite Christmas present, is Bloemfontein Celtic’s mission. That is according to Assistant Coach, John Maduka, refereeing to Celtic’s match against SuperSport United this Wednesday.

“We must quickly forget about our disastrous display on Saturday and swiftly focus on the Supersport United game,” commented assistant coach John Maduka, in light of Celtic’s loss against Mamelodi Sundowns over the weekend.

Maduka continued, “We can’t afford to lose another game, especially on our home turf and players know the importance of winning this one as a Christmas gift for our ardent supporters. We fully understand that it won’t be easy, but again, our priority as coaches is to make sure our players have psychologically recovered and are ready to fight diligently.”

“We looked a bit fatigued in our last game and we are looking forward to the short-break to help the players regain strength, however, that cannot be used as a pretext, instead must give 120% commitment as we wrap up our games for 2017. We enthusiastically look forward to 2018 matches and we all have the responsibility to protect the brand by producing positive results” he concluded.

The match against United will be played at Dr. Molemela Stadium on Wednesday (20th December 2017) at19h30. Fans are urged to purchase their tickets at various selling points (R30 for juveniles, R40 Open Stand and R50 Grand stand).
