Bloemfontein Celtic has a mammoth task of trying to annex 3 points against Platinum Stars in what is expected to be a good spectacle of football. The Phokeng based side is still licking their wounds after being eliminated in a Telkom encounter by the Mangaung based team a week ago. Celtic, on the other hand, will be buoyed by their Telkom final qualification and also their recent magnificent winning streak.

Celtic MD, Rali Ramabodu commended the team for their tenacious approach and zeal to win games saying “We have such an enthusiastic bunch of players who are collectively working towards a common goal, complimenting each other and subsequently adhering to their mission of building a solid brand through sensational displays.”

Celtic’s game against Platinum Stars will be a real test of character looking at the fact that its players have been doing a lot of travelling recently. The team left Bloemfontein on Friday (17 Nov) for Polokwane and will be back in the City of Roses tomorrow (Thursday 24 November 2017).

“It is prudent for us as management to continue supporting the players and having seen the mood in camp, one can safely say they will never cease fighting. Platinum Stars can be very dangerous at times but with the type of players and atmosphere in the camp, we are expected to win,” he concluded.

This interesting clash will be played at Royal Bafokeng stadium starting at 19h30 on Wednesday the 22 of November 2017.
