Bloemfontein Celtic travels to Orlando Stadium to face Orlando Pirates this Saturday (22 April) and Celtic coach Lehlohonolo Seema believes that his side has what it takes to face the determined Pirates side.
We know that we are playing against a team that is under pressure to win and they will come at us with everything they have,” responded Seema when asked about their crucial Nedbank Cup quarter-final clash against Pirates. This mammoth encounter will kick-off at 20h30.
The preceding league encounter between the two sides at the same venue last December ended in favour of Celtic and Seema believes his team is ready to qualify for the semi-final. “Winning this game will inspire players moving forward, it is important to move to the next round and keep the momentum”.
“There is a positive mood in the team with players firstly enjoying training and secondly gunning for progressive results. Even fringe players are fighting enthusiastically to be part of the first-18 of the squad and that is the positive stress we find ourselves in. Having a mixture of young and experienced players provides us with the chance to give everyone a chance if you consider the hectic schedule we are faced with” wrapped Seema who this week achieved his CAF Coaching A License.
After Saturday’s encounter, Celtic will switch their focus to the PSL when they host Highlands Park at Molemela Stadium on Tuesday (25 April 2017).
