After leapfrogging and increasing its chances to win their maiden Multichoice Diski Challenge (MDC) trophy, Bloemfontein Celtic will be faced with a stern Ajax Cape Town on Saturday (11th February 2017).
After sensationally winning with an almost last minute gasp goal against Orlando Pirates last weekend, the enthusiastic Siwelele will be seeking to move closer to the Netherlands trip as Champions of the PSL Reserve League.
Celtic Chief Operations Officer, Chabeli Motsamai was thrilled when sharing their excitement as management about the prospect of their lads becoming eventual champions. “Investment in the Youth Development Programme is evident when you produce exceptional players and that is exactly what we aim to do. The football doctrine learned from the senior squad has successfully been transmitted into the system of our junior players.”
In conclusion Motsamai warned “However, we cannot underestimate our last two opponents (Ajax and Baroka). The penultimate fixture against the Cape Town side will undoubtedly be the toughest and winning that game will almost send signals of champs in waiting”.
The match between Celtic and Ajax will be the opening fixture for the two day Diski Festival which starts on Saturday at the King Zwelithini Stadium. Entry for the games is free.
