Wandisi Letlabika has returned to training after sustaining a head injury during a match against Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this month (March).

The evergreen and resolute defender who has colossally dedicated himself to the team is recuperating well and gradually monitored by the team medical team.

Tebogo Sethunya, team physiotherapist explains, “We are absolutely delighted that Wandisile is back and started his rehabilitation on Monday and doing fairly well. Unfortunately head injuries are sensitive and we must take precarious measures in dealing with the situation.”

Sethunya concludes by promising multitudes of Celtic fans that probably by next week, Letlabika will be able to train rigorously with the rest of the team.

“He is such an exceptionally strong and hardworking player and fantastically improving and we are hoping he continuous to respond positively to treatment and gradually regaining strength to train with vigour and sheer determination next week.

We will continue to monitor his progress and subsequently inform our technical team as to when he can start training with the rest of the team.”
