Bloemfontein Celtic’s MultiChoice Diski Team has for the season, 2018/2019, played with vim and was no surprising to see them being crowned the ultimate champions. Saturday 23rd of February 2019 will remain indelibly in the minds of the players, staff and multitudes of Celtic supporters as one of the greatest days in the history of the team. The marauding ‘Siwelele youth’ has proven unimaginably that meticulousness and diligence are the cornerstones of success beating Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 in what was probably one the best games of the season.

Commending them for stupendously outclassing their opponents and subsequently the tournament that has eluded them for two consecutive seasons, the club’s MD Rali Ramabodu said “Sometimes it is very difficult to comment especially when the team has incredibly overdone itself with such superlative displays right through the season. We not only pride ourselves but applaud them for having spectacularly won the trophy.”

“Our technical team is quality,” he emphasized. “How can we ignore their phenomenal contribution and utter commitment in building one solid and classically exciting team? Look, they have splendidly produced amazing talent for the first team and consequently won with another bunch of highly gifted players they scouted.”

“It is also befitting to have such achievements in a year where we celebrate 50 years as a team. This is a symbol of good things still to come to this beautiful institution. All these players and their support staff deserve to travel to London, enjoy football, gain a bit of international experience and exposure and come back home with pride knowing that the brand Celtic has been well represented. I must thank for the inner-most part of my heart the fans who have been rallying behind the team and Saturday we saw our Gauteng fans proving beyond measure that we are a national brand,” Ramabodu concludes.
