Bloemfontein Celtic reserves will be hosting Highlands Park reserves on Saturday, 15th September 2018 at Dr. Molemela Stadium. This Multichoice Diski (MDC) encounter will start at 12h00 and the home team will be looking at redeeming themselves after losing their first game of the season against Bidvest Wits at the same venue last weekend.

The current Celtic reserve squad consists of a lot of players signed recently and while still trying to get the right combination, the technical team knows that collecting maximum points especially playing at home is imperative and thus according to coach Abram Nteo. “What is important in football is results, not excuses. Once you enter the field of play your job is to make sure you fight for three points. Yes, there have been wholesale changes when coming to playing staff but again that cannot be used as a pretext for failing to collect points. City will be a difficult opponent purely because of their offensive style of play but we have made proper analysis and will capitalise on their weaknesses”

Nteo explains that their preparations for this game went exceptionally well and that the mood is gradually becoming high with players getting used to the system of play and said “Strangely enough, our players are oozing with confidence even after our last defeat. Having worked closely with Coach Steve Komphela and his technical team during our pre-season has immensely helped us as the Development coaches. This team will be transformed into a formidable side with lots of youngsters enjoying football while bringing positive results. Our fans must start supporting us in numbers and we promise to continue working hard to satisfy them,” he concluded
