Thohoyandou stadium will be abuzz with soccer spectacle when the two entertaining sides Black Leopards and Bloemfontein Celtic clash in a mammoth PSL fixture on Sunday, 16th September 2018. The kick-off time is scheduled for 15h00.

Two weeks ago Steve Komphela and his technical team watched in anguish and later in glee when Celtic came back from a two-nil deficit to force a two-all score line against Kaizer chiefs in Gauteng and that has shown character that can be displayed by the Mangaung based side. Now, visiting Leopards away from home will be another stern test of charisma but with support from his forever enthusiastic players, Coach Steve can positively look into the game with high hopes.

Elaborating on the mood and desire to win from players, club COO Chabeli Motsamai said “obviously the technical aspects of the game belong to coaches and ours is to give necessary support while assessing from a distance the mood in the camp. There is huge vibe among the players and looking at how they enjoyed their training this week one can safely say the team is ready.”

Motsamai also commented about facing Leopards in Venda saying the conditions might be unbearable but has faith on the current crop of players to do well. “Look, facing them (Leopards) at their fortress will always be difficult for any team but again fortunately our squad has a lot of experienced players to guide the young ones under any conditions. Those signs of a very competitive team have already been shown and we just have to remain humble and pray for more positive results.” He concluded
