The inaugural MultiChoice Diski Shield resumes this weekend at Kaizer Sebothelo stadium (Botshabelo) in a soccer extravaganza starting from Saturday 7th till Sunday 8th April. Bloemfontein Celtic reserves are in a group which includes Free State Stars, Cape Town City and Ajax Cape Town.

Games between Celtic and Ajax have proven to be exceptionally intriguing and the Cape Town lads have a pedigree to beat the home team. The team manager of Celtic’s reserves, Kgosietsile Molokwane, has a different view: “We have endured a very terrible pain of losing the Multichoice Diski league title at the very last end and now, this new competition affords us the chance to redeem ourselves and win something for our fans. Our group consists of outstandingly great teams with lots of experience and qualifying for the next round will be a mammoth task but our technical team has been working tirelessly preparing the team for this clash.”

“Yes; Ajax always gives us problems even when we are leading they tend to come back miraculously but fortunately our players are yearning for a positive results with a very vigorous approach anticipated. We are glad that our products like Kabelo Dlamini and Neo Maema are continuing to do wonders for the first team meaning our coaches are working superbly hence the confidence that with the type of players we are currently having we will compete to win at all costs,” concluded Molekwane.

Siwelele will face the Urban Warriors at 10h00.
