Friday, 12/01/2018 is still vivid in the minds of players and supporters of Bloemfontein Celtic when Maritzburg United terrorized, mauled and subsequently disgraced the Mangaung based outfit during PSL fixture hosted at Harry Gwala stadium.

Now, Saturday, 31st March will see the two teams engage each other during the Nedbank quarter-final clash that is expected to produce exquisite football with Celtic seeking revenge.

Beaming with confidence United will be expected to harass Celtic defence with incredible speed and on the contrary Celtic will be relying on their solid back four and their diligent midfield led by the evergreen Lucky Baloyi.

“We have nothing to lose,” highlighted Celtic team manager William Mothokoa when asked about that crucial encounter. “This one will be a completely different ball game; our players have been vigorously preparing whist enjoying training sessions this week in preparation of this massive game.”

William was exceptionally impressed by the team sprit displayed and the hunger to win at all costs.

“I was hugely captivated by how the team was preparing since our last game of the league. Our technical team has been presented with a positive stress on who to choose for Saturday game. With a bit of patience and great tactical awareness we will be able to progress to the next stage,” concludes Mothokoa.
