After firing blanks in their last two league fixtures, Bloemfontein Celtic will be hoping for a much improved display when facing the League Champions, Bidvest Wits on Sunday 1st October 2017 at Dr. Molemela Stadium.

The preceding encounter between the two sides was in favour of the visitors with a 3-1 win and Celtic will without a doubt try to thrill their fans at the expense of the students.

“We had a scrappy game against Chippa United last weekend (which ended in a goalless draw) and obviously the boys would want to redeem themselves with a win especially at home,” Revealed assistant coach John Maduka speaking about Wits encounter.

“The team is ready and preparations went fantastically well with players graciously fighting to be part of the 18-man squad to play on Sunday.”

The former Celtic captain agrees though that Bidvest Wits has great players with massive experience and undermining them because of their recent slump will be suicidal. “Look, we have made assessment and scrutinized their playing style which changes accordingly but we have players capable of beating any team,” he said.

Tickets for the match are available at different selling points in Bloemfontein and through the Ticket-Pros outlets (online and Edcon stores).
